In October, Toray completed an expansion at its Indonesian facility with a new polypropylene (PP) spunbond line with an annual production capacity of 18,000 tons per year. The total annual capacity at the facility is now 37,000 tons per year.

With the expansion in Indonesia, Toray Group’s total annual capacity for PP spundbond nonwovens is 157,400 tons per year. The company produces 47,400 tons per year in Korea and 73,000 tons per year in China.
